Linda Ronstadt is known to the world as one of the most talented singers in history, but she is also a mother. The talented artist, 76, adopted two children, including daughter Mary Clementine and son Carlos, in the 1990s and has maintained a pretty private life with them ever since. Although he was never married, he was able to build a life with his family and share a bond with his children in a way that changed his life forever.
“I’ve thought about it a lot. I like children a lot,” Linda said playboy Magazine before adopting her children in 1980. “The only reason to have children is because you want them more than anything else, and if I get to that point, I don’t care if I’m married or not. I would love for the kids to be with the dad, because I think it would exponentially increase the enjoyment and the richness of the experience, but I don’t think it’s impossible to do it alone.”
